Slush mold is a type of plastic molding that produces film-like finishes. This material is a common choice for automobile interiors. Slush molds consist of two parts: a mold body and skirt that can be detachably joined to each other. The skirt covers the marginal inner surface of the main mold body. The slush mold  resin film is formed only over the molding surface of the body. Guide members are attached to the skirt to guide the joint to the proper position.

The utility model of a slush mold consists of a control system, heater, purging and tackling system. The heating tank is connected to the fermentation vat by a pipeline. A slush mold can have water circulated inside it. The heater is placed within the fermenting vat. The slush molding process is similar to the production of polymer-based products, but the slush mold is more efficient.
